Radio - dewisant - 03-01-2013 If there is anyone who would like to know about Amateur or Commercial radio just ask. I hold an FCC Amateur Extra License, an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License with Ship RADAR Endorsement (GROL), and I'm a Volunteer Examiner (VE) for both the ARRL and W5YI. 73, KC7WGB Radio - scorched - 03-02-2013 just makes wish I didn't have a bazillion other things to study or I would at least get my Amateur Tech Radio - dewisant - 03-02-2013 AA9PW FCC Exam Practice Take the Technician test 3x times a day for a month from this website, and then take a real test for the Technician License. Radio - EI2HCB - 03-03-2013 Good to see that there's some radio operators on here, I think the Antenna will have to wait till after I finish my U.S history 1 test! I hate it when certain individuals say "Oh your're from Europe you've got so much history there!" 73 de EI2HCB / KB3LKM Radio - LaterBloomer - 03-03-2013 Sorry, EI1HCB, but that's the way it is! I've been fascinated by England forever. Decades ago, a friend got to go on a high-school student exchange. She told me she stayed at a house that was from the Civil War, but she thought that it was actually older than 100 years. I wanted to scream. She didn't realize that she was in a home from the ENGLISH civil war, and not the American. Oh, well. I lived in West Germany from 1983 to 1987 and saw quite a bit of it in my travels!
Radio - rcwaldo - 03-03-2013 More Hams! NA1O, Amateur Extra, GROL (no radar), 3rd Radio Telegraph (have to upgrade to 2nd before the change in the rules.) VE, etc. But more proud 'Charter Oak State College AS 78, BA 79' when they were 'The Board for State Academic Awards of the State of Connecticut' which left no room on the Associates degree for name and date! 73 Rob Radio - cannoda - 03-03-2013 rcwaldo Wrote:More Hams! Not a ham, but GROL with Ship Radar converted from a first class radiotelephone way back when. |
