Ready for Macro? - psalm148 - 01-20-2013 Hi everyone, I'm looking for a little advice and perhaps encouragement. I'm studying for the macroeconomics CLEP which I'm going to take Tuesday morning. I've been scoring moderately well on the REA Practice Tests (58, 56), but on the Peterson's I've doing much worse (45). For me the REA is MUCH easier than Peterson's, but I keep hearing mixed reviews on which is actually more like the real test--which one is?? I tend to stress A LOT on tests, study a lot, and get a good grade. Am I just over thinking too much and should I just go in and take the test? OR should I just take the SL course? I don't really care if I just barely pass, I just want to pass. I've been using IC flashcards and doing really well (I understand 80% of the information), Khan Academy, various youtube videos, wikipedia, etc, REA CLEP Book and Practice Tests, & Peterson's. TIA Sonja Ready for Macro? - freddy - 01-20-2013 If you've been studying for the test, then I think you owe it to yourself to take the test and see what happens. i recently passed the calculus clep. I started freaking out as the test date got closer and I was thinking about not taking the CLEP and just taking the class. I talked to my roommate and he convinced me to take the test. I passed and Im really glad that I decided to take it. I studied for macroeconomics just using instant cert for only for 14 hours and passed, so I think you stand a good chance at passing. Ready for Macro? - psalm148 - 01-21-2013 Thanks so much! I think I'll study for a few hours today and then take yet another practice test and see where I score. Then take the test accordingly. |
