Need 8 History Credits and 4 Psych Credits - pepowdylan - 01-16-2013 I am trying to pass out of some Gen Eds, and go ahead and get my bachelors. What CLEP tests do you recommend for me to take to equal the following credits? I was looking at the following classes. History U.S. I: Early Colonization to 1877 3 Social Sciences and History 6 History = 9 credits Introductory Psychology 3 Introductory Sociology 3 Psychology = 6 credits Need 8 History Credits and 4 Psych Credits - Westerner - 01-16-2013 That definitely looks good! I agree that these are good choices, but please double-check the written policy at your school. If you need psychology specifically and not a social science in general, then Sociology may not count. Also, the Social Science & History CLEP may not count as 6 credits of History. Definitely check with your school that Social Sciences & History will count towards the history credits required before you take that CLEP.
