CLEP Biology: Am I ready? - tylerad - 12-23-2012 Hello all, this is my first time posting and I need some advice. I've been studying for the CLEP biology test for around 3 weeks now and I have used the following sources: cliffsnotes, Khan Academy, Free Clep Prep.com youtube videos and the REA Guide. For the past week I have been taking 3 tests a day the results ranged from a 55-67. Is there anyway to know for sure if I am ready for the real thing? Are there any resources (free or cheap) that I haven't used that might help? Thanks in advance! =) CLEP Biology: Am I ready? - Snickerdoodle - 12-23-2012 That sounds good to me. I passed using the REA guide alone, so I think you're well prepared! All the best! CLEP Biology: Am I ready? - NAP - 12-23-2012 tylerad Wrote:........ The best way for me to know when I am ready for a CLEP test is to take the practice test in the CLEP Official Study Guide. It is always the closest to the real exam. As NAP said, the Official CLEP Study Guide is a great measure of how prepared or not you are for the test -- there may even be some similar questions on the real thing. Aim for a 60% or higher on the OCSG to have a good margin for passing the real thing. That's not to say I could go into great detail about each, but I could at least give a simple definition. Is that good enough? The thing to do is REALLY make sure you have a wide variety of knowledge. Take every practice test you can and IC. Also I got a set of flashcards on my Kindle that helped. I passed it on the first try but I could have easily not done so. Really, just study and then study some more. |
