Personal Finance Dsst PASSED - finalchapter2012 - 12-17-2012

I am so thankful that I trusted in instantCert to prepare me for the exam. I studied for 3 days for about 2 hours each day and I passed with a 430. There was a few questions that weren't on the Flash cards, but they were hard to figure out. Most of the exam is common sense based. I needed to exan to complete my BA, so I am extremely excited that I passed.

Things to know:

Medicare
Guaranteed renewable policy
Decedent
Wage-earners plan
Difference in chapter 7, 11, 13 bankruptcy
Trust in lender method
Difference in a trust and will
Passbook savings
Mutual funds
Credit counseling agencies

I hope this helps a bit. Good luck!

Thanks for posting the study tips! I'm taking this exam on Saturday (Jan. 5) and I'm kinda nervous.
Did you have much previous experience with personal finance before you took this exam? I have a savings account
and that's it, so not much life experience to go on. Is Instantcert still enough to pass the test, or am I going to be in trouble?

Once again, thanks for the help.

Hi, I am taking this test this Saturday, April 6th, and am just wondering if you passed degree4hbia? I'm very nervous about this exam, although I do have some experience in finance.

Thanks! Smile
