iTunes U - OpenRoot - 12-06-2012 This is a totally new resource for me and I'm loving it! I've been listening to some of the NYU Sociology lectures on my way to work and they really do help to solidify conecpts. Anyone have any favorite iTunes U lectures you found especially helpful for any of your exams? iTunes U - Lyanne - 12-06-2012 Dr Clark Closser's Survey of American Literature series. Missouri State Western Civilization I & II Anthony Heideman Civil War and Reconstruction -Open Yale Survey of Astronomy - Missouri State iTunes U - HorseManiac - 12-06-2012 I used History 7B by Dr. Jennifer Burns for either US History I or II. I can't remember which one! lol iTunes U - DSH2007 - 12-06-2012 I posted a few at this thread. Don't forget Audible.com; many times you can find a coupon or special. iTunes U - Prloko - 12-08-2012 I tunes U is great. I try to download a few on the same subject to find one close to my learning style. Some of the professors are dull. Ironically I usually find the courses from the elite universities not as helpful as some from the state universities. I watch the videos at 1.5x speeds so I can get a semesters worth of lectures in within two weeks. Missouri State's Financial Management is real good for DSST prin of finance. Missouri state also has a great money and banking course. iTunes U - Arthiel - 12-08-2012 Listening to stuff from iTunes U is one of my favorite ways to study. Anthony Heidman's WC I&II I loved listening to his lectures. I still have them on my iPod and sometimes listen to them randomly. I emailed him after I took those tests and thanked him for recording the lectures and told him how they helped me pass those tests. He seemed really surprised and pleased to hear from me and I got to explain a bit about how I'm earning my history degree. He was really nice. : ) I also listened to the Jennifer Burns History 7B, Biology from Berkeley, a couple different English Lit ones, Yale for Civil War and Recon. iTunes U - freddy - 12-08-2012 It's amazing how much time you can save when you are able to speed up the playback. A lot of people speak really slowly. |
