New TESC applicant! - chess_doc - 11-29-2012

I decided to continue taking classes with TESC. Submitted my application today, requested my official transcripts (SMART, Ashford University, Vincennes University, CLEP/DSST) to be sent to TESC. That's $115 of investment! I was told by the Regional Military Base Representative of TESC that it will take about 4 weeks before I can get an official evaluation of all of my credits. I was kind a hoping that I can register for a course in January once I get back from leave. I will just start in February and start taking CLEP/DSST exams.

I need some advice on my degree plan. If there's a better way, please let me know!

I know I need to take 12 credits, I have 2 so far in my degree plan. I was thinking about taking 2 more that would apply towards the BSBA in General Management. I know I should just go directly to the BSBA but I have a year left on my shore duty. I'm looking at going to a ship next and I just want to be realistic. I can't finish the BSBA program within a year. I want to get the ASBA so that at least I'll have something under my belt. It will also help me out 2 points for advancement exam once I'm eligible.

Any advices will be appreciated!
