Is the Capstone count as one of the required upper level courses at TESC? - supermom - 09-29-2012 My son's degree plan in Social Sciences requires 18 upper level courses. Does the capstone count as one of those and are you absolutely sure? Has anyone actually done this since the capstone requirement is new? Or does he still take 18 hours of upper level in addition to the capstone. I just want to be sure! He is close to finishing and I don't want to make him take more than is necessary. WE just today found out he has to take the capstone ![]() Is the Capstone count as one of the required upper level courses at TESC? - claytonordie - 09-29-2012 I'm not sure why it wouldn't be. My capstone was a 492 class so it definitely counted as upper credit class. Also, that is awesome for your son! 17 with a bachelors is nice, I wish I would have know about this sooner. Is the Capstone count as one of the required upper level courses at TESC? - AlbaTiVo - 11-30-2012 You need 33 credits including the capstone and you have 33 listed above, so you could take the capstone instead of one of the 3 credit courses. I am assuming you enrolled before 7/1/12 so the capstone is not required for you? I thought I'd have to take 3 extra credits so this is good news, thanks. Does anyone have any advice as to which test to skip? Middle East or World Conflicts? I have the book for Middle East but it seems scary.
