Spanish level 2 - ALBCAN - 06-08-2012 Just need to know if anyone who has taken this Spanish Level 2 test could tell me if the test is based on Latin Spanish or Cattilian Spanish??? Spanish level 2 - cooperalex2004 - 06-08-2012 I'd assume it is Latin Spanish since it is based on the college Spanish courses which seem to focus on Spanish spoken in Mexico. You can find some basic info and a few practice questions at Spanish Language | CLEP One other note, they only have one Spanish test (and only one for German and French). The "level 2" comes in when you get a higher score and they give you 12 credits instead of 6. I haven't taken that course or exam but I had a native speaker friend of mine take it and said it was straightforward but notes the listening portion is more difficult. You just take the one exam and have a shot at either six or twelve credits so it's worth a shot if you know the language. Here is their scoring info: Spanish Language, Level 1 - Passing Score 50 - 6 credits Spanish Language, Level 2 - Passing Score 63 - 12 credits Level 1 â equivalent to the first two semesters (or six semester hours) of college-level world language course work Level 2 â equivalent to the first four semesters (or 12 semester hours) of college-level world language course work |
