Educational Psychology CLEP - laurs456 - 04-22-2012 Hi, I'm taking the Intro to Ed Psych CLEP test next week and I'm feeling very overwhelmed. Has anyone taken it recently that can offer helpful tips? Educational Psychology CLEP - Lindagerr - 04-22-2012 What is overwhelming you? Have you read the specific exam feedback. These exams do not change often so it is probably the same as when I took it 2 years ago. It is a lot of normal Psych info with a little more tilt toward children and education. What are you using to study? Educational Psychology CLEP - sanantone - 04-23-2012 I used the Instantcert flashcards and got a 70, but I had already taken a few psychology tests and courses before it. What the flashcards did not cover are recent educational trends from the past 10 years of so like setting up desks a certain way in the classroom. I think it was someone in the Specific Feedback forum who said to look those up. I just made educated guesses based on my experience as a teacher's assistant. Educational Psychology CLEP - Clepclep - 05-03-2012 I m planning to take this test. I recently passed intro to psych n human growth n development. What do u suggest me to study?? Are REA book n instantcert sufficient to pass? Educational Psychology CLEP - SuZQ2 - 05-03-2012 I took Intro to Ed Psych (72) after Intro Psych (75) and H G & D (69). My main resources were the REA Guide, Peterson's Tests and a recommended Ed Psych text I purchased used from Amazon - "Psychology for Teaching" by Guy R. LeFrancois. I had no particular interest in Ed Psych (other than completing the 3 CLEP Psych tests) but the textbook was quite interesting and helpful. I studied for about 1 month following H G & D. Educational Psychology CLEP - Clepclep - 05-04-2012 Thanks suzQ2 ...I do not have any background on psych except intro psych n human growth. I too just wanna pass this exam n get 3 credits...do u think instantcert n REA covers everything? I don't have much time..I m planning to take this soon Educational Psychology CLEP - killerino - 05-04-2012 I plan on taking that after i take human growth and development Educational Psychology CLEP - SuZQ2 - 05-05-2012 Clepclep Wrote:Thanks suzQ2 ...I do not have any background on psych except intro psych n human growth. I don't have much time..I m planning to take this soon My brain isn't "wired" for fill-in-the-blanks so I didn't use IC, but I know from many others the IC flashcard system is very helpful. I would definitely use the REA book (I love using the TestWare CD as it mimics the actual test experience) and then the Peterson's exams. If you did well on the two previous CLEP Psych tests I think you'll be fine. Good Luck! Educational Psychology CLEP - Clepclep - 05-05-2012 Thanks:-)) I will do the same. Currently I m studying from REA..once m done will try practice test then petersons test.. |
