clep natural science - Clepclep - 03-17-2012 Hi I am taking clep natural science end of this month. I recently passed biology. I do not have any reference book for NS. Since this test is 50% bio and 50 others can i just study from free clep prep and give this exam? Any suggestions please? clep natural science - ryoder - 03-17-2012 Go buy the REA book and watch Khan Academy chem videos and you will be set. clep natural science - Clepclep - 03-19-2012 I found official college clep book in the library.thanks clep natural science - HorseManiac - 03-20-2012 You can also check out the Rader websites on several natural science topics from here. clep natural science - Priya - 03-20-2012 Hey what all materials you studied for biology? clep natural science - HorseManiac - 03-20-2012 Priya Wrote:Hey what all materials you studied for biology? I'm not sure if you were talking to me or Clepclep, but here is what I used to study for biology. Just keep in mind that because something works for one person that doesn't mean it will work for everyone. My resources were: IC Flashcards - ALL 878 of them REA Biology - very helpful; tests are very good indicators; but it does not go quite as deep as you might need if you haven't touched biology in a long time Biology Smart by Deborah Guest - very easy to read with questions and diagrams. I got it for $.01 + shipping on amazon.com Standard Deviants video - seems very silly, but is helpful for some hard concepts. I got them from the library. Sparknotes Biology Study Guides - SparkNotes - I read a few of these before I took my test Rader's BIOLOGY 4 KIDS.COM - This was a good resource as well All 3 Petersons practice tests - these are harder than the test, but great for review. Also, check out the Khan Academy videos and you should definitely read the Specific Exam Feedback if you are a paying member. P.S. Just a note that when I took biology I had just finished a highschool, college prep biology course a few months earlier. HTH! clep natural science - nimi - 01-23-2013 hi.. what all materials you studied for natural science? i gave bio clep exam and i passed.. now i will give clep natural science..plz guide me. nimi. clep natural science - Lady Grace of Pemberley - 01-24-2013 nimi Wrote:hi.. I listed the resources I used here ---> http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-thomas-edison-charter-oak-specific/17980-my-degree-plan-tesc-progress.html#post136709 Definitely get the REA guide and the Official CLEP Study Guide if possible; they will help you to measure how ready you are for the CLEP. Since you've already passed Biology, you will already have learned 50% of what will be on this test, so you may only need to learn one other area (i.e. chemistry) in order to pass. Good luck on your CLEP! ![]() clep natural science - HorseManiac - 01-24-2013 nimi Wrote:hi.. Hi Nimi, Lady Grace gave you some great resources. Be sure to check out her link. I second what she said about REA and the Official CLEP Study Guide. I would also suggest the Rader's websites. Rader's COSMOS4KIDS.COM They have several different sites that cover different topics (like astronomy, physics, geography, etc). Since you've passed biology you have a good start. Good luck! clep natural science - Westerner - 01-24-2013 These resources helped me pass NS with 64: the Comex book Khan Academy Biology playlist—Biology The Periodic Table of Videos - University of Nottingham—Chemistry Sixty Symbols - Physics and Astronomy videos—Astronomy, Physics |
