Where to go from here... - cooperalex2004 - 03-02-2012

Got back my TESC evaluation and was surprised in some areas (good and bad). They took in all of my CC credits without question including two PLA's (marked with course names beginning with PLAN) but now I'm where I predicted I'd end up. While I meet the gen ed requirements at my CC for my AA degree I still don't meet them for TESC. I'm planning on taking the CLEP for English Comp and College Math but need some more ideas on credit. I will need a social science course and some more general ed electives. Any CLEP or DSST ideas based on the attached eval and/or my signature listing tests taken? Note that I failed Macro Econ by ONE point so that's out until July.

I already have my plan to complete the Communications Major Requirements so I just need help filling in the gen eds. Anyone have any idea why TESC took five of my ten ACE credits? They are from a former employer's workplace training (an airline) and are not going to help with my degree but I thought it would be fun to have them on the transcript. Does TESC accept vocational credits because two of the five missing are?

If anyone was curious why I have such weird credits it is because my AA (graduation in May) from my CC is in Accounting and Mass Communication and I've received or will receive certificates in Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. Before you say "switch your major" I kind of have my mind set on Communications to go with my current job in Television Production.

Thanks!
