DSST/CLEP Humanities - gratisair - 02-28-2006 I am figuring out how best to get my 12 creds needed for humanities. I am going to take CLEP Humanities (6), DSST Intro to World Religions (3), but I need another three, any ideas on what TESC may consider humanities that are available by CLEP or DANTES? Thanks! DSST/CLEP Humanities - anar579 - 02-28-2006 I'm not sure about TESC specifically, but perhaps CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature? You'd have to make sure with the school directly if they consider this a humanities credit and how many credits are granted. I know Excelsior grants 6 credits for this one. DSST/CLEP Humanities - RBOWMAN - 02-28-2006 TESC grants 6 credits for this course and it shows up that way on my college transcript. DSST/CLEP Humanities - gratisair - 02-28-2006 ok cool I already have Analyzing Lit, did it last week, everyone was right it is an easy exam. DSST/CLEP Humanities - gratisair - 02-28-2006 Quick advice on the exam. Take a quick look at basic literary terms, spend 20 minutes reading some Shakespeare, Frost, etc to get a feel for the writing style, and relax when you take it. It is a very passable exam, I did it with no study. DSST/CLEP Humanities - ShotoJuku - 03-03-2006 I am taking my Humanities CLEP this morning - wish me well.... I'm back - passed 64. DSST/CLEP Humanities - Sammy - 03-04-2006 Ethics in America is a humanity at TESC. I used instantcert and the DSST guide at their website. I'm glad I used both. Got a 73. Also looking up terms and philosophers at http://www.reference.com was helpful. |
