Excelsior Collge Statistics Course - eebee123 - 02-01-2012 I need to take a statistics course, and I'm really not a numbers person, so taking the clep isn't really an option for me. Anyone have experience with either the Excelsior Statistics course or the Excelsior Statistics for Health Care course? Which one is easier and requires less math? Thanks! Excelsior Collge Statistics Course - NAP - 02-01-2012 I wouldn't call it easy, but have you considered ALEKS Stats? It is self-paced ($20/month) and may be upper-level credit depending on your major. Excelsior Collge Statistics Course - perriquit - 02-08-2012 Straighterline is also a good option. The website of the textbook has chapter quizzes with questions that are very similar to the ones of the actual SL tests. If you need more practice google some of the questions of the chapters and you will find many schools that posts practice questions for their students. You could check the level of the questions solve each chapter quiz and whenever you feel comfortable sign up for the class and just take the tests and pass for only $99 since the 1course is free. The textbook was very cheap I think I paid like 9 bucks for it Excelsior Collge Statistics Course - eebee123 - 02-15-2012 thanks for the suggestions. I actually have to take one course with Excelsior, so i figured that since i anyways need the stats class i may as well make it the class i do with excelsior. Thanks anyways! Excelsior Collge Statistics Course - NAP - 02-15-2012 Really? May I ask why you are required to take a class? Excelsior Collge Statistics Course - eebee123 - 02-23-2012 Well, I guess I'm not exactly required to, but in order to use my fafsa I have to take at least one class. |
