Can you transfer ALEKS and FEMA credits to other schools other than the Big 3 - taylor - 01-18-2012

I'm thinking about getting a 2nd Bachelors at either Cal State Fullerton or Long Beach. But does anybody know if these ALEKS and FEMA courses will even transfer as credits. Since I already have a BA from TESC I am hoping I won't have to take too many more classes for a second Bachelors degree but not sure.

Also, if I decide to go for a masters degree instead, will the ALEKS math classes be recognized as real math classes to fulfill the math requirements for a masters degree outside of the Big 3? For example, I'm also mostly looking into public universities in CA for possibly a masters degree.

The ALEKS classes and FEMA classes helped me get my BA at TESC but I'm not sure if they have any value as far as credits go outside of the Big 3, that's my concern.

First off, get the master's.
Secondly, if you opt for a second BA, then it's 100% up the the school who issues the second BA to determine which (if any) of your prior undergrad credits count for THEIR graduation.
Re math: if your grad school is specific (x credits of y subject) then they will decide after evaluating your transcripts.

The theme is this: whoever issues the degree has trump.

Thanks Cook. I agree Masters would make more sense. But if I could get a second bachelor's in less than a year from a public university in CA, I would do it. And then think of the masters later on, oy vey.
