Principles of Statistics Exam Questions - kamdad - 11-09-2011 Hi, I just subscribed to the site and will be taking the DSST Principles of Statistics test in 2 weeks or so. My questions are to those who already took the test. They are: 1. Are the actual test questions follow the same format as the InstantCert test - that is a question and a space to write in the answer? Or is it more of a traditional multiple choice lot? I know I can take a practice test to find out, but I don't want to do that as it'll give me nothing of value - my statistics kung-fu is pretty bad right now and I want to take the practice test when I feel that I can at least fail intelligently. 2. How indicative is the difficulty of InstantCert test questions compared to the actual DSST test? When I took my PMP test, for example, I found out that the questions on the exam were much more difficult then ones I was practicing with - actual test questions required a much deeper level of understanding vs. plain knowledge of the subject my test book was throwing at me (still passed that bad boy with a 89%!!) But when I took LSAT, I found that I could locate the practice tests that very accurately conveyed the complexity of the questions. So, how accurate is the complexity of the InstantCert test vs. the real deal? Thanks in advance to everyone!! Principles of Statistics Exam Questions - clep3705 - 11-09-2011 The actual test is almost completely multiple choice. There may have been one or two fill in the blank questions. The actual test doesn't have a lot of calculating. If you search, you will find many posts about this exam. |
