New catalogs at Excelsior - sanantone - 10-22-2011 Excelsior just added cybersecurity concentrations, certificates, and degrees. Theres some great scholarship opportunities for cyber security majors. One that caught my attention was the scholarship for service that Geezer's son was considering. Personally I'm switching over to TESC because their CS program is more traditional and closer to what my local university requires, minus a couple of math courses that are optional at TESC. I'm still waiting for my transcript evaluation, if things go as plan I'll update one of the existing CS threads with my progress. @sanantone what are you going to pursue a masters degree in? I'm looking at doing the Regional Studies concentration of this program. It's the preferred degree along with political science and international relations for intelligence analysis. Since I'm a Texas resident, the whole program will cost me just under $11,000. Master of Security Studies (M.S.S.) New catalogs at Excelsior - MRHTOAD76 - 10-31-2011 I've e-mailed them to see if they still waving enrollment, if they give me URL or code I will make sure to post it. Haven't heard back anything yet. I've started playing with Aleks and done about 5 FEMA's so far lol.. they are kinda fun in a geeky way New catalogs at Excelsior - sanantone - 10-31-2011 If you asked about waiving the enrollment fee, the answer will most likely be "no." The article said they are waiving the application fee. I'm not sure if it was just for the graduate programs or all of the cybersecurity programs. I just found this article. I wonder if I got this mixed up with the cybersecurity programs. Anyway, the waiver ends today and it was only for Excelsior alumni. But I could have sworn I saw something about a waiver for the cybersecurity programs. http://www.excelsior.edu/web/alumni/continue-your-excelsior Or maybe it was this I saw. http://www.excelsior.edu/web/alumni/october2011-newsletter |
