Intro to Computing (Feedback included) - highlanderburial - 04-01-2007 If you have even one iota of knowledge of computers you can pass this one! The Computers for Dummies book however was pretty good for it as well as any article on the internet on how computers work is fine. It mainly asks about applications as VERY vague questions (trying not to promote Office or WP). Just know about general computer apps. Know a little about html, tiffs, a little about the development of the computer etc. Intro to Computing (Feedback included) - LuBee - 04-01-2007 It sounds like I might be able to pass this one without study. I think I'll just go for it. Intro to Computing (Feedback included) - ShotoJuku - 04-01-2007 LuBee Wrote:It sounds like I might be able to pass this one without study. I think I'll just go for it. Intro to Computing (Feedback included) - LuBee - 04-06-2007 AGS, I'll add that there were many questions involving speadsheets on my version of the test. Unfortunately I was at the testing center taking the test when you posted the helpful info. All of those you mentioned were on my test. Arpanet and CPU were the only ones of those that you mentioned that I knew the answers to. My test was not computerized so I will have to wait to see how I did. I hope it is one of those tests where even though I felt as though I did poorly, I actually passed.
