Straigterline Anatomy a pain or just me? - pitbull30 - 09-06-2011

Hi All,

Is anyone on here taking or have taken SL anatomy? Im about to wrap up English and started to look at Anatomy next which doesnt look like all the busy writing work which i wanted. Mainly quiz/exams, but so far its proving to be pretty hard even with the open book. Not that it should be easy, but even flipping back and forth through the book its pretty tough. Any tips would be appreciated.

I have not taken StraighterLine A&P. However, I would recommend reading the posts that I have linked to this one, which include comments from people who have taken it:

I took A&P II via SL and finished the class in 5 days, however I had already taken A&P I many years ago at B&M school and have an extensive background in medicine/science field. That said, there were things that I did not know and had to look up in electronic older edition of the book. I would suggest if you have the book, at least skim thru the relevant sections and be familiar with where certain things are located, such as pictures. I don't think one would be able to just look up the answers to questions without some prior knowledge base or familiarity. Not suggesting that is what you are trying to do, but there is a lot of material presented. In addition, the course segments may be worthwhile. I went on and took the Bio course and found it to be much the same, tedious and time consuming for testing, but having some previous knowledge helped me complete it in one (long) day. Good luck!

Thanks for the input. I decided to try this one out based on interest. So maybe I bit off more than i could chew considering I have no prior knowledge in this. I should have known when I saw the book was 100 bucks and 1000+ pages. Ill keep on it though.
