Grant (FAFSA) Question...Regarding TESC & COSC - onthecob - 08-13-2011 Hello, I applied for an educational grant through FAFSA less than 2 weeks ago. Since then, both TESC & COSC have asked for additional information. I am most interested in attending TESC (a combo of testing out & online courses) to get my degree. Should I also send the additional info. to COSC because it is the school that determines how much grant money you might receive (so said someone at FAFSA when I called). Perhaps COSC would offer more than TESC. Sending the additional info to both doesn't mean I've chosen either one...there is no conflict right? And what is an Ad Hoc Consortium Agreement? Thank You for your help, Dana Grant (FAFSA) Question...Regarding TESC & COSC - rebel100 - 08-13-2011 Send it to both, it's just good comparison shopping. I suspect the offers will be competative, but the devil is in the details. I chose COSC because they will work with anyone to let you access your aid. So you can take classes at your local CC or at a school like Colorado State Pueblo. In other words they were happy to act as a sort of clearing house so that i could use the funds elswehere. |
