Assistance with TESC BALS Degree plan. - akjake - 08-09-2011 Hello all. I'm a long time lurker on this forum, I don't say much and I try to figure stuff out on my own (hence the whole online degree thing, I suppose), but I feel like I'm getting close and I'm looking for a sanity check and advice on my degree plan. In addition to the credits at the time of the eval, I have 12 credits of DSST that I've penciled in and 4 Femas which I haven't. Before I take anymore tests (I can do CLEP locally, but have to fly 500 miles to do DSST) I need some input, and my questions are: 1. Did I (or TESC) screw up in the initial eval? 2. Does where I applied my recent DSSTs make sense? 3. Do the tests I have planned make sense? 4. What are the easiest tests to knock out those GER Free Electives? Thanks in advance for any advice. -jake evaluation: Source Institution Source Institution 1 Thomas A. You'd have to find a proctor, but your CLEP testing center might do it for cheap or free. My local library did mine for free. Another thought, why not work through Straighterline or ALEKS and pick up the other gen ed electives that way. ALEKS is cheaper than CLEP (limited to maths) but SL would be sooooo much easier than booking a flight. I think everything looks properly placed. I agree with Jennifer look into taking things that are cheaper and maybe home based such as Aleks and Straighterline. How about ECE and TECEP test? Alot easier then 500 miles in the air. You did place Intro to Marketing under your area of study in LS and that will not work because it is a business exam. But Straighterline Buiness Communication could fit there. Just a thought. Also you could look into DSST Business Ethics because that comes in at upper level and is fairly easy. |
