InstantCert (IC) - Hunterw0026 - 07-28-2011 Hi all, Can someone explain what this is, how do I find more information on this? Thank you! Wendy InstantCert (IC) - methibosheth - 07-28-2011 InstantCert is a flashcard-based study tool for CLEP, DSST, and ECE. I've used it for several CLEP's and DSST's and absolutely love it! This forum was made by the company that created InstantCert. Yes, they do have a flashcard set for Psychology. The cost for InstantCert is $19.95 a month. If you use my referral code when ordering (78116), you get $5.00 off your first month. Here's the link for InstantCert: InstantCert: CLEP Online Study Guides Hope this helps! InstantCert (IC) - LaterBloomer - 07-28-2011 You can also join for 6 months for a discount. Membership also provides feedback on specific tests. This is very helpful. Good luck. InstantCert (IC) - burbuja0512 - 07-28-2011 The IC flashcards were a key part of me being able to finish my degree so quickly. I didn't use them as a sole resource, but to guide my study. One you subscribe to the IC cards, as previously mentioned, you will also gain access to the specific forum feedback. What this means is that on the main forum page, a new spot will be opened up to you. This area contains threads on each test and literally years of forum member advice on tests taken. My CLEP/DSST strategy was pretty much the same every time: IC + Specific Forum Feedback + Google + maybe YouTube videos for concepts I couldn't understand. There are tons of lectures out there on the web and each thread in the specific forum feedback will be full of suggestions and some users have even posted the study guides that they used. I always liked to create my own study guides because the process of typing up the guide actually helps me to memorize. IC cards won't teach you absolutely everything about the topic. They are really focused around studying for and passing a test. If you know what's on the IC cards, you will pass the test. Sometimes just reading through the cards is enough to understand a concept, other times I would have to stop on a card because I didn't understand what it was talking about. Then, I would google the terms I didn't know, learn them, and then go back to the cards. HTH! InstantCert (IC) - Hunterw0026 - 07-28-2011 Hi to all that answered! this is the kind of INVALUABLE information and I can not thank you enough for the answers. It is indeed little angels like you that are helping everyone here. I will make sure to return the favors as I educate myself more. Thank you, Wendy InstantCert (IC) - timhoover2112 - 08-15-2011 I was wondering too, do you get full access to the entire site (instantcert.com) or does your $19.95 allow for only certain sections of it? Thanks in advance. InstantCert (IC) - methibosheth - 08-15-2011 $19.95 a month gives you access to everything. So what are you waiting for? Get signed up InstantCert (IC) - Lindagerr - 08-15-2011 :iagree: I was taking months to prepre for each exam and worrying my self to death about what to study. Once I joined IC between the flashcards and the Specific Exam feedback I knew what to learn and I felt more prepared faster for each exam. Once you join IC you are able to use all the resources for as many test as you want. If you have more then 1 test and are going to work consistently I think the 6 month membership is a good deal. |
