Business Law II - claytonordie - 07-27-2011

I'm about to take business law I which I've been studying all summer long and am sure I'm going to get in the 70s. My question is while I still have this knowledge should I go ahead and try to knock out business law II as well? I don't need it for my degree, but if I wanted to get a second bachelors later then I'm going to need to this class at my school.

I guess for those who have experienced both tests can I be ready for business law II in 2 weeks after I take Business law I? I was hoping Law II would be built off law I, but what do I know...

It's a good idea to take them both at the same time- all you need for both is Barron's Business Law, and there is Instacert for the Bus Law CLEP.

You'll have to study separately for Business Law II as they cover different topics.

Business Law II covers separate topics like negotiable instruments, real estate law, bankruptcy, types of business entities, etc.

The Business Law II DSST will definitely be "built off" of the CLEP Business Law exam topics, because you're going to still need to apply the normal rules of contracts, torts, etc.

I posted some tips for both exams on my blog:
