I live in the Buffalo/Rochester area of New York and I'm going to take my first DSSTs tomorrow. They're pencil and paper and I'm sort of disappointed about having to wait the four weeks to receive my results. I've taken many CLEPs and my local testing center is computerized for that, but the testing center I've found here in Houghton, NY is paper-based. I was wondering if anyone in this region had found a computer-based testing center in the Buffalo/Rochester area. I don't mind waiting the four weeks now, but the closer I get to completing my degree, the faster I'm going to want my results. I've called all the test centers on the official DSST testing locations and half the colleges initially haven't even heard of the exams (and the other half haven't gotten back to me), so I don't really want to continue to harass the people there if they aren't computer-based, as the testing center I'm going to is the best distance-wise and I'll continue going there if my only option is paper-based. But if someone somewhere did have computer-based, I'd totally make an effort to schedule my remaining tests there.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'd appreciate it if anyone had any information!
