Hello,
I am working on a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Thomas Edison (TESC).
The DSST section of Undergraduate Ways to Earn Credit - Thomas Edison State College - acalog ACMSâ⢠states that Organizational Behavior and Money and Banking "may be classified either as social sciences or business, depending on the studentâs degree program."
For my degree, I need 21 general electives. General electives usually include social sciences credits. If I pass either/both of the above tests, can I use them as general electives?

Though Im not 100% sure about TESC, if they are credits that are not used for your degree requirement they should be counted as general electives.
I dont think I'd choose Money & Banking as a test unless you had no other option. I needed M&B for UL course credit at EC. There are many other exams out there which are easier and can fill elective requirements (some up to 6 credits for one test).

With TESC, credits not used otherwise roll down to Free Electives. General Electives have to fall within certain subject areas.

Ugh... M&B was one of the most difficult tests I took. I have no idea how I passed. The only one tougher IMHO was Principles of Finance. However, M&B is considered UL. I don't know about TESC, but at COSC, you need 15 UL credits in your concentration and 15 "other" UL. If you have to have UL credits, you may take it. If you don't need UL credits, do not take this test unless you have a strong interest in the topic or are really up for a challenge.

Org Behavior can go under Business or SS. Money and Banking can go under Business or SS. So you should be okay.
