Any WGU students here? I need some help! - marianne202 - 05-01-2011 I'm really interested in enrolling in a program at Western Governors, but the program head that was to review my records suddenly quit responding to my emails after I sent everything to her. I did a chat session from their website and they acted like they couldn't help me and had never heard of the "program head" I had been emailing back and forth. I can't get any response and I'm wondering if any students here have a name and number or email for someone at WGU that is helpful! I'm very interested in the BS in Healthcare Informatics, but because I have two BS degrees and am halfway through my Master's I need to know what would be accepted in transfer before I commit to their program. I can't duplicate all my existing credits, so I'm hoping their very flexible transfer policy they tout on their website is true, but I just can't get anyone to commit to it or respond to me! Any help or recommendations from a WGU student is greatly appreciated. I'm really wondering if it is worth all this trouble. Thanks! Any WGU students here? And if I had an experience like you had, I'd take that as a warning to walk away from them. Any WGU students here? I need some help! - Lindagerr - 05-02-2011 I PM'ed you. I have been very happy with the response time and help I have gotten from them. Any WGU students here? A lot of schools either make it very hard to obtain one (requiring someone in admin's approval, typically the dean), or deny the request outright. |
