Humanities after Lit tests - dackmolly - 04-22-2011 If I have already taken all 3 lit CLEPs in the past month and a half [this should be true by next month! ] how difficult is Humanities CLEP? My goal is to only study about a week/week and a half. How reasonable a goal is this? (oh, btw: I am an aspiring music major, so the music aspect of humanities *should* be a breeze) Humanities after Lit tests - Elinor - 04-22-2011 I didn't think the humanities test was all that difficult, especially after studying for the lit tests. Since I had that background, I focused most of my time on the art and music. With you being a music major, the music part shouldn't be a problem, but do go over the art. There was quite a bit of that, but nothing too terribly difficult. Also, after cramming for the art part, you can take the Art of the Western World DSST with only a little more study (I took it 2 or 3 days after humanities). Humanities was probably one of my favorite tests to study for. Yes, it covers a LOT, but it's my kind of stuff! ... well, 'cept the music; that's never quite been a strong point of mine. Boy, I was nervous when I went in to take it though! I couldn't believe my score when I finished (73)! Such a rush! ![]() OH! Skim some ballet, too. There was some of that on there if I remember correctly. Here's a link to the blog post I wrote after taking the humanities test: In shock « Reformed TN Girl |
