CLEP & ALEKS questions - purplewoman - 02-09-2011

I finally got my evaluation back from Thomas Edison, and I have a couple of quick questions. I pretty close to finishing the BSBA in Accounting.

First, I was surprised that they did not accept any of my higher level business writing courses for English 102. I would like to take a CLEP to cover English 102, but I'm not sure which one to take. There are two College Composition CLEPs, modular and general. It looks like either one would cover English 102, so which one should I take?

Second, I completed a course in Business Statistics at UMUC. I thought this would fulfill the requirement for a course in introductory statistics, but they listed it in the Natural Science/Math section instead. So, now I need a course in introductory statistics. Would Introduction to Statistics from ALEKS fulfill this requirement?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!!

Do you have any other math courses besides the Business Stats class at UMUC? Becasue if you do not that is possible why they put it under Natural Science/Math section. You can always send them an email saying that you do not think that they placed a class in the right section. I had to do that more then once. They also always fixed.

As far as the Clep comp question I think either one would be fine to fulfull your remaining Comp credit.
