CLEP Info Systems and DANTE Intro to Computing - amulhearn - 01-17-2011 Hi there! CLEP Info Systems and DANTE Intro to Computing - NAP - 01-17-2011 From what I have read from TESC students: At TESC, they can only take one - Intro to Computing DSST or Information Systems CLEP - because of duplication. (Plus computing counts in the natural science/math category.) I'm not sure if MIS counts as Gen Ed also. [Note: Excelsior College does give credit for all 3 exams in the school of liberal arts. They do not duplicate, but are applied professional/free elective.] CLEP Info Systems and DANTE Intro to Computing - amulhearn - 01-18-2011 Thanks for you quick answers! CLEP Info Systems and DANTE Intro to Computing - ryoder - 01-18-2011 I know the basic computing classes duplicate. You can see it right on this site. The MIS course does not go to gen ed though, its upper level business credit.
