I've only been applying for jobs in a field that I already hold considerable experience in, and in that regard there's been no issues with it. Those that have interviewed me considered it to be a checkmark in the "holds BS degree?" box. It also got me into a decent master's program, of which I've recently graduated from.

Hi Vickyvicky,
I'm a TESC graduate and since adding it to my resume have been getting very good calls from recruiters. I even heard from a company out West and that's never happened before. So its obvioulsy helping me, even in this climate. Experience speaks volumes but without the degree, a certain payscale is hard to attain these days in my industry. More important for me is moving to the next level and to do so a degree was required.

Many of us already have jobs and use our Big Three degrees for advancement. I'm mostly a contractor, but in my case, simply having a degree allows me to work in settings that I could not previously. Also, both in my contract and employment work, my pay rates have increased since obtaining my degree. In one interview, the HR rep mentioned my degree several times as a notable indicator of my suitability for the job.
This, despite the fact that it is just an Associates and just in Liberal Arts. I went from checking Some College on an application to Associate's Degree, and that makes a huge difference, no matter where you get your degree from.
