Sociology study guide discovery - Aubs - 10-29-2010 I've been studying sociology for the past two weeks or so. I found a CLEP COURSEWARE by Brent W. Knapp that was published in May, 2010. The CLEP study guides are out of print and the last edition I could find was from 1995. I wanted the most recent edition so I bought the CLEP COURSEWARE. After starting into the book, I noticed repeatedly "See chart below" or even "(see here)" but there was no chart below and there was no chart in the back. The "(see here)" proved to me that it came from the Internet somewhere. I finally got fed up with not being able to see these charts they were referring to so I looked it up....and found the website on the first try. Introduction to Sociology - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks For anyone taking sociology, it'll be a great extra resource. Essentially a whole other study guide!!! Urgh. Why must I learn things the hard way?? A total 174 pages of information. The book comes with some practice questions but since there are other practice tests available on the internet, buying the book isn't necessary. I HATE buying stuff only to find out that the information is free on the internet, especially the entire book! Argh! Sociology study guide discovery - clep3705 - 02-14-2011 I think the Wikibook is a great resource. I searched it and it didn't contain glass ceiling or superego, so some additional reading is needed. Hopefully more people will post links to additional resources that cover material not in the Wikibook.
