Are these FREE clep practice exams scored the same as the regular Petersons tests? They are 100 questions each.....is a 60 still a solid score ?

How many questions are in the actual collegeboard practice tests?

Your link doesn't work.

Peterson's tests are scored by percentage, whereas an actual CLEP is scored by a secret model that is harder to obtain than the Colonel's secret recipe. Nobody outside of the College Board knows it for sure (at least, nobody has ever posted it in an easy-to-find place on the internet).

I really have never been able to figure out what the correlation is between a Peterson's test and CLEP, but I can tell you that the score of 60 is a bit lower than what I usually get on a Peterson's test when I haven't started to study and still know nothing about the subject- which tends to be between 65 and 75. I wouldn't consider 60 to be solid for any of the exams that I have taken, but each exam is very different, so my experience might not apply to your situation.

It looks like the Peterson's link. I have found that a 60 is plenty to go take the test as the Peterson's tests seem to be much harder than the actual.
