I am majoring in Liberal Studies and TESC authorized me to use Intro to LE and intro to Criminal Justice as social science credits in my general education. Those are widely regarded as pretty using using just IC. I have heard the same about intro to psych. Information Systems and Computer apps is an easy test if you are even semi familiar with computers and counts as science credits. I have done a lot of business writing in my career, RFP's, resumes, PPT's, etc, so maybe that's why, but I barely studied and had no problem passing. Business ethics wasn't tough either; I only used IC. I just find it very boring and a little harder to study, but not a tough test. Favorite General Ed Electives? - sheba - 10-11-2010 Thanks Burbuja. I was considering adding a couple of the easier biz tests. Also, I was doing further study and it appears that Fundamentals of Counseling actually counts as an UL cred for my area of study so I'll be replacing one of the ECEs with that. Favorite General Ed Electives? - rmroberts - 10-12-2010 I agee technical writing was easy even though I have had no business experience whatsoever. Research Methods ECE meets your experimental requirement. And I used fundamentals of counseling as an ul psych elective too. You really just need to go w/ your likes/strengths. I don't like history or science and I managed to not have to take any true history or science exams. Also, ALEKS intermediate algebra will cover your required math if you want to go that route. |
