First of all let me apologize for all of my dumb questions lately, and I have yet another one.
What happens if you get a second bachelor's degree? Let's say that I complete my BS at COSC and then I apply at TESC or EC. Since my tests stay on file with CLEP and DSST for 20 years, could I apply those to my new college?
I guess what I'm curious about is that if I go for another bachelor's, am I starting from 0 credits or can I complete a second degree much quicker since I've already completed many required courses/tests?
Thanks again.. I was considering asking my advisor about this, but was too embarrassed to do so.

If you have a bachelor's completed, then all you have to do is fill the residency requirements of your new school, or in the case of the Big Three, fill the second degree requirements. Both are typically around 30 credits, although some, like University of Massachusetts are more, and some, like Columbia College, are less.
I believe that for all of the Big Three, you need 30 credits that have not gone into any other degree.

Oh, and even if the school you apply to doesn't normally accept as many exams as you used, they will still accept your first degree as a "whole" degree, and won't require you to take more courses than any other second degree student.

Second bachelor degree usually requires between 24-30 new credits. Here is TESC's policy Undergraduate Academic Policies - Thomas Edison State College - acalog ACMSââ¢
This means that the other 90 credits can be shared, so yes they can apply to a second depending on the program.

Oh this is not good. My plan was to double major in History and Political Science. I had it all figured out where I could use all of the free electives of one degree for the other degree. But that would now appear to be impossible if I have to get 30/24 new credits. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I could do instead?

A double major isn't a second degree, so your situation is different, but the end effect is pretty much the same since you do need to complete the required courses for your major.

You don't need to have a second set of 30 credits for the same degree

Ok, thanks. I think I'll end up posting my degree plan soon and seeing if you guys agree that it's possible.
