Excelsio double majors / minors / areas of focus - perriquit - 07-27-2010 Hey guys is it possible to graduate with a double major from Excelsior? and if I don't have enough credits for a minor can I graduate with a minor or an area of focus in the business program? Excelsio double majors / minors / areas of focus - TMW2010 - 07-28-2010 I know its possible to double major in LA degrees... No clue on the business side of things.. If they require depths, you might be able to. From the way I understand how it works on the LA side of things you have to have 2 depths - 12 credits, 3 being UL. You can replace each depth with an AoF (21 credits, 9 credits UL IRRC) or a Major (30 credits, 12 credits UL, which is kinda inaccurate, because the required course list for the major seems to usually have you filling in more UL credits than just 12 by the nature of the subject areas of the major that they want you to have in the core and secondary areas... * ) As long as you have any combo of Depths, AoFs, and Majors to fill the two slots, you're good. I'm not familiar with the way the business school wants things handled though.. Sorry. *Edited in an clarification of what I mean on this* For example - if you were to try and hit the Psych major in the LA school, you end up with 12 LL credits and 18 UL credits to meet the specific course requirements, even though several of the courses are 'core' courses (which may imply that they'd be lower level) they only available classes/tests for them are upper level classes/tests for the credit. |
