Hi Everyone,
Im new to this site so just trying to figure out how it all works.....I have my Biology Clep exam on Tuesday and have been preparing for about a month now. Was wondering if I am totally comfortable and scoring well on the flash card test ( on the site) will I be ready to take the clep eam on Tuesday?

Bio is a tough one. If you are knocking them down on IC though, and you are comfortable, then go ahead. You are your best evaluator.
Have you taken any other CLEPS/DSSTs or other college?

Bio was brutal so make sure you know the subject pretty well before testing.

Thanks for the reply. I assuming you have take bio??? Im so nervous to take it on Tuesday any other advice? Im relying heavily on those flashcard questions although I have purchased other bio books online but it just seems like way too much....

Well I think one of the keys on the test is to make educated guesses. For a lot of the questions, you won't be able to figure out if it's "A" or "C" but as long a you can get it down to 50/50 for those types of questions you'll probably still pass (unless you have horrible luck).

USE THE SPECIFIC EXAM FEEDBACK! Don't get overwhelmed by the quantity of info in the books you have--and don't think you have to know everything you see in the feedback. You have already done the majority of the work. The IC cards give you a good overview and are likely enough to pass. HOWEVER, you have a resource here that can help you tailor and target your final study to the questions that have a good chance of appearing on the exam. You already know the general areas that will be covered--and their ratio. Now you should use the exam feedback to direct you to topics where you can enhance your knowledge to put you over the top.
One method I frequently used was analyzing the specific feedback for frequency of each topic. I would list each topic and note the frequency with which it appeared in the specific exam feedback. Then I would sort my list from the most frequent appearances to the least, and use whatever time I had to delve into those areas more deeply. It doesn't even matter if you only get half way through. You know that the areas you are studying are the most likely to help you. Good luck!
