Let's say you want to post in the "General Education and Testing Discussion" because you want to know what a CLEP is.
Actually, let's mention the 'Search' function, at the top of this page, first
So, you were making a new topic on a specific question after your search turned up no info. From the main page, click on the forum title, "General Education and Testing Discussion". You want to create a 'New Thread'. The button to start your new thread is on the left side. Below the 'Sub Forums' and above the 'Threads in Forums'
Click here to see a picture.
After that, the controls are the same as those you used to post your reply.
