Grouping Exams - mama2maddie - 06-28-2010

Hi there! I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on grouping exams with similar content. I would like to be able to study for 2 exams and take on the same day, if possible.

Intro to BL, Criminal Justice and Intro to LE all had similar content, and I was lucky enough to take them all in a row.

I am scheduled for American Gov't, A&I Lit, Supervision and Organizational Behavior next (July-August) and am looking at scheduling Sept - Oct.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi mama,

I totally understand where you are coming from. Obvious grouped exams from experience would be College Mathematics, College Algebra and PreCalculus.

From reading the forum, there appears to be a lot of mileage from working through the Psychology tests in a block.

Personally, I need humanities credit now. It's also a very weak area for me. The CLEP Humanities is worth 6 credits but is very broad. In contrast, feedback seems to suggest the DSSTs Intro to World Religions and History of Western Art are doable. I'm looking at working on all three of these with a possible shot at the CLEP English Lit at the same time, depending on how the studies go over the next few weeks.

Macroeconomics/Microeconomics also seem a good pairing.

The history and civilisation exams are also structured to follow each other.

These are the more obvious choices, what else have people found to work well together?

Tech Writing would fall under the Humanities section. That is a fairly easy exam to do. Also taking Money and Banking after Macr/Micro is also a good choice. Money and Banking is upper level.

Technical writing goes after English comp for many.

Humanities after English lit, analyzing lit and American lit. Then art of the western world.

Social sciences after US history 1&2, western civ 1&2 and sociology.
