English Lit CLEP - Big 3 require essay or not? - irnbru - 06-23-2010 Having searched the forum, now posing the above question. Do ECE, TESC or COSC require the English Literature CLEP to be completed with the essay in order for 6 credits to be awarded? Is anyone who has taken this CLEP at any of the Big3 able to confirm they received the credits or were told explicitly the policy? I've looked at the 'Student Guide and Assessment Catalog' (ECE), 'College Catalog' (TESC) and 'Exams Master List' (COSC). Each lists the English Literature CLEP just like that; 'English Literature'. Specifically in contrast, English Composition is listed by each as 'with essay'. I've starting studying for the Humanities CLEP, and got into the idea of rolling it up with the Art of the Western World and Intro to World Religions DSSTs. Now considering adding English Lit to make the flight to my local testing centre worthwhile Many thanks. |
