Straighterline -> Excelsior - Bunbu - 06-17-2010

Perhaps this is old news but today I was told by my SL advisor that Excelsior was soon to become a partner of SL. This would simplify sending transcripts tremendously.

Thanks Bunbu. Wow do you know when that will start? Do you have to be an enrolled student to get credit from Straighterline through EC?

Allison, he didn't mention deadlines, but I guess it can't be far, he implied that it could be before I finish my course which I'm halfway through.

I will let you know for sure if I hear anything else regarding this.

Straighterline -> Excelsior - Chebasaz - 06-17-2010

That would truly be outstanding news for Excelsior students!

Anyone hear the outcome of this?

Straighterline -> Excelsior - rickyjo - 06-26-2010

Hmmm, I wish I had known this. I would have paid more attention to my grade. As of now I just stop trying once I hit 70% because I was intending to use ACE which is P/F. Oh well! I guess this really doesn't change anything for me. I need to send the ACE transcript anyway for ALEKS and NFA, and grade has little relevance to me.

Straighterline -> Excelsior - Maniac Craniac - 06-27-2010

What is the major difference with EC being a partner college? Weren't they accepting straighterline anyway? Does it make the credit transfer faster? Do they now accept more courses than they did before (that is, are there non-ACE straighterline courses that EC now accepts)? Have I asked too many questions already? When will it end? Big Grin
