the mechanics of DSST tests - cutstep - 06-16-2010 with the revised tests that dsst has rolled out in the past two years I am curious about how different they are from the old versions. the score is now based on 500 pount scale with 400 passing, does that mean that each question is worth 5 points on a hundred point test or are some questions worth more? what does a score of 400 represent? does that mean I got 50% right or is it higher? I know that there are some standardized tests that have floating question difficulties depending on the answer.... your first question is neutrally hard and if you get it rigth then you get a harder question, this continues until you get one wrong then it gets a step easier and the repeats until you are getting one right and one wrong... it also works in reverse if you get one wrong to start any advice would help thanks C the mechanics of DSST tests - MISin08 - 06-17-2010 DSST still comes in paper & pencil version so I would say no to this part. cutstep Wrote:... the mechanics of DSST tests - NAP - 06-17-2010 I think the article that is linked to this post has some of the answers to your questions: http://www.degreeforum.net/general-education-testing-discussion/10911-clep-macroeconomics-question.html#post80424 |
