Why go from UMPI to TESU when UMPI has everything you need to complete their degrees? You'll need to take those credits AFTER your UMPI degree is conferred. A second bachelor's degree is rarely worth it. It's usually better to go for a master's degree. UMPI is NOT designed for you to take their classes, ditch them, and then get your degree from somewhere else. UMPI is a university so why not just finish one of their degrees if you take their classes? RE: UMPI - Seagull - 12-24-2020 Don't see why it cannot be used just for courses. Colleges don't have to be designed to transfer courses, one simply does. Students ultimately choose what college they want their degree from. UMPI earns its money whether you take one semester or more. I like some of their courses but I'd rather get a degree from one of the big 3. We have a plan to offer the new Computer Science course through YourPace and we are working on it. The credit transfer depends on your already completed courses elsewhere as well the equivalence of your completed courses with the available courses at UMPI. Yes, you can choose some of the CS courses as electives (upon approval of the appropriate authority) toward your degree. Usually, our students prefer in-person classes and exams where exams are proctored. Due to the COVID-19 we conducted a few exams online. It depends on the course instructor how he/she conducts the exam. Please feel free let me know if you have any other questions. For CS, you usually need a CS degree (or at least a STEM degree) to be admitted to a master's program. Not always, but it'd certainly be easier to start from the position of having a CS degree in the first place. And a master's degree isn't always going to be better for computer science anyway. If you can get a CS degree for relatively cheap, why not?
