Free Ethics Course - Toastmaster - 11-06-2015 Has anyone been able to sign up for this lately? The site keeps asking me for $5 and says I can't take it without a license. Is that happening to anybody else? Using Chrome browser on Android Free Ethics Course - dfrecore - 11-06-2015 Toastmaster Wrote:Has anyone been able to sign up for this lately? You need to make sure that you're choosing the correct course, there are 2 on the page you can choose from. Choose the one that says "free". Free Ethics Course - Toastmaster - 11-09-2015 Thank you OP! 2 Free Credits!!! Took me 3 tries, spent approx. 5 hours on it (I kept leaving the lessons and saying to myself "okay, now I got it") But honestly, I didn't "get it" until a few lessons before the Cannons (which I skipped because I downloaded their .pdf book from their website). At that point, I began to understand things the way the course wanted me to, and it was actually pretty interesting. Final was 82% Free Ethics Course - Soonersiren - 11-10-2015 I just got my evaluation for this course from TESC. They used this to fulfill the Responsible Ethical Leadership requirement, but just gave me 2 credits for this class. They bumped the additional 1 credit requirement to Personal Social Responsibility - now I have 4 credits required in that area. I'm not really sure how much I helped myself with this class.... Free Ethics Course - dfrecore - 11-10-2015 Thanks for letting us know. I knew it was only 2cr, but I was hoping they would push it down to GenEd rather than just in that specific bucket. I guess worst case scenario, you can take a different Ethics course to replace it with a full 3cr, or else take a course in the Personal & Social Responsibility section, of which there are a lot more options. What course number did they give it?? Free Ethics Course - hightecrebel - 11-10-2015 Soonersiren Wrote:I just got my evaluation for this course from TESC. Assuming you're testing out, if you had any TECEP's that were just going to be for residency under free elective or even outside of your degree itself, make it one that qualifies for the Diversioty/Global literacy and you're good to go. I think World History from 1600 to Present TECEP, Marriage and the Family TECEP, and Psychology of Women TECEP qualify. Free Ethics Course - sanantone - 11-14-2015 TESC evaluated this course as PHI-379, so this can work as UL credit for the liberal studies and humanities majors. If you're not majoring in business, you can always use the Business Ethics and Society DSST for the ethics requirement. You can also use it for the ethics requirement if you already have Business in Society/International Business completed with something else. There is also the Ethics in America CLEP. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for that last credit if you really want to use the free ethics course. Free Ethics Course - inkleind - 11-18-2015 Just took it cold and got 76%! Took about 15 minutes. It's the first credits I've added to my ACE transcript! Woohooo! The degree journey has begun! lol Free Ethics Course - Saharapost - 11-18-2015 Patten evaluated this course as PHL263 Social Ethics. So, it appears this will fulfill a 3 credit Ethics requirement at Patten. Free Ethics Course - creationstory - 11-20-2015 so this ethics course isn't that hard? also is it 2 credits or 4 credits? I saw differing posts.. |
