Hi Guys
I am just adding some information here that can help everyone get access to resoruces.

Click on get library card
Type any address and fill in the email id and any document id anything like M134621. An email with temporary pin and user id is mailed to you for 30 days.
Login
Click CLEP under - College prep -the 3rd tab on the top
Click on the exam you wish to prepare for. There is a tab - access printable version
Register with your email and username and password, and you get the pdf
After this, you would not need to do any more registrations. You have access to all the resources under this website.
Good luck for everyone that is preparing for the CLEP exams.

Neither of these seem to give access to Peterson tests anymore. People keep mentioning taking 2 or 3 tests for a specific topic. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. CalltoStudy I tried your library method but the college prep link is no longer there.

I was able to access Petersons through the Dept of Defense site. If you have a retired military parent (or active, of course) it's free. It says "all family" so hopefully someone who didn't think of ithat can use it. I never thought about it as my dad was in Vietnam. That was a long time ago, so I never think of military benefits. Someone told me recently that I am eligible for things due to his service. Who knew?

I've also been using the nelnetsoutions site as 2 members of my family were military. It's super helpful as it has 3 online exams which can be timed or untimed. There's also an additional paper test with answers. It's all free for military personnel and families.
When I registered, I did notice there was an option for "Civilians". I don't know what happens when you choose civilian but I would hope you get the same tests or at least something similar. If I wasn't already registered, I would try to register as a civilian and see what happens.

been using the nelnet site for a while. very useful. however now it's only airforce. in addition i'm getting a message saying some tests (intro to educational psychology) are no longer supported under airforce budget.
anyone else seeing this?

I've been accessing the Peterson's practice tests using my local library. I was actually going to make a post about it.

Thanks for the info. Is it an in person thing? With these 2 kids I have no time to get to a library. Does anyone have any updated library information where you can access Peterson tests online?

The local libraries that I've been to in my area all have pretty extensive online resources in addition to in person resources. I've been going to the libraries and getting a card(for free) then going home, logging on, and getting instant access to the nelnet solutions (Peterson's) site. It's usually under "testing and education reference center."
It's really quite amazing the resources I've been able to find...
