I'm currently doing Business Law II and some of the milestones require to conduct a legal research on current cases. The thing is that the instructions are not clear enough (or at least to me) and I have no idea where to find such cases and what I am supposed to do with them. Am I supposed to read the countless pages of a legal case and extract info/summarize it to answer the milestone questions?

I've tried to contact the professor but I haven't received a response yet. If anyone knows, I would really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction!

All mandatory coursework finished! I took four extra classes since I had time left in the session. I'm about halfway through Economics 207, and when that's finished, I'm truly done. Will end up completing 42 credits in two sessions, though I only needed 30. Excited to be moving on to the next step, but I have really enjoyed UMPI.

Congrats! Sometimes taking a few more courses that interest you isn't a bad idea... It's all for the learning anyways! So, What's gonna be on your plate next?

Thanks! Planning to start working toward an MPA in June, probably concentrating in Economic Development. They don't require an economics background (most of the classes are public policy related), but I figured I might as well take economics at UMPI to get a more solid foundation than general statistics.

Congratulations! Were you able to apply for graduation next month? Good luck with your next degree!

I was, thanks! I applied later than I should have, but it worked out anyway (thank goodness).

Oh good! I know the application deadline is pretty early in the semester. It can be hard to know if you well be finished in the spring semester if you don't have classes in the fall so you know what they're like and what kind of pace you can maintain. Were you able to submit a photo for Commencement? I think the deadline for that was last week. I had a bunch of emails the week before about Commencement things. Really wish I could go but it doesn't work with my schedule. Total bummer!

I'm honestly not much for photos and quotes. I'd love to be able to attend, on the other hand, but that's not in the cards either. Hope I get to visit the campus at some point, though!

Your name should still be announced during Commencement. You'll be able to watch it on YouTube. Last year there was only a virtual Commencement so I was really hoping to make it this year, but it wasn't meant to be. I'm hoping to be able to attend alumni weekend one year once that starts back up. It's normally in September with Homecoming I believe.

Attending alumni week sounds like a good plan. I may do the same at some point.
