JSD flawless advice. Thank you very much. You brought up some interesting points.

I don't recall any vague questions like that, I took 640-554 on 3/5/2014, maybe a different version? The problem I had was that they wanted you to use the GUI for all the configuration and I am a CLI guy. I also worked almost exclusively on ASAs at the time (which was surprisingly only about 20-30 mins of the 5 day course).

I took the 210-260 IINS exam two months ago. The old version (the one I took the class for) wasn't nearly as convoluted, but the update really screwed with the format.

Don't sweat it, Cisco tests aren't all as bad as they sound. Better than the Saylor test I took, haha!

They're tough, but that is a good thing, they don't get diluted by having everyone take it getting a first time go. Myself and another CCNP (who ended up with two CCNPs) both blew our CCNA tests more than once, but we got thru it and excelled.

Like Ski said, don't sweat it. I just wanted to air that complaint to make sure you have a chance to prepare for it, especially since WGU will pay for the first two attempts. Assuming you bomb the first attempt, look at your score report with a breakdown of which sections you really messed up. Once you learn how to reinterpret their questions and study up on those specific sections, you'll probably ace your second attempt. It's just another hill to climb

Great job! Good work JSD, Wink

Your thread is giving me more and more encouragement to apply/get into the BSIT program at WGU.
I just love reading your updates, gives me pleasure in contemplating that I'll soon be joining you there.
Hopefully sooner than later, I am hoping to finish up my final AOS courses and grad in Sept, *thumbs up*.

Well I got my transcript evaluation back and was only awarded 28 credits so the fact that you had a degree already must have been crucial.

:/ I could try and get an ASBA from TESU but I might be too late for that. Anyway maybe it's not meant to be.

Side note they did accept all of my Aleks courses, ed4credit management information systems as Business of IT, SL organizational behavioral.

Anyway JSD thanks for all the advice. The program does look great. Just not in the mood to study for the Gen eds.

do you have enough credits for one of those WV BOG AAS? We don't know yet how WGU takes AAS's, it might clear out general ed the same way.
