There really isn't a set number of courses to transfer, I would do them in batches at a time from each provider. So, for example, when I a done with my Sophia.org classes, I send them in, then work on the Study.com course and send those in... They take time to evaluate the transfer and update the academic evaluation anyways, so you can take the time to continue doing more courses...

I would not send them too often, lest they get the idea to do the Excelsior thing and start charging per evaluation. Once every month or every other month should be fine.

I'd do it every 2-3 months at most (I sent mine a couple of times a year, but that's me).  Certainly not more than once a month.  God knows, we don't want to give them a reason to change policies because they're slammed with people sending too many courses too often. Yikes.
