Checking in on this. Does this still apply? How else can the Information Literacy requirement be met for Excelsior?

Nope, you're a few months too late. They changed November 2019, anyone applying/registering then would need to do a 3 credit cornerstone. Link: https://www.excelsior.edu/policy/cornerstone-course-requirement/

Study.com's library science: information literacy course works. If you were registered before November 2019.

EC no longer accepts Info Lit to be brought in, plus they added the cornerstone. So you have to take 7cr minimum from them.

Not unless you already have it on your eval at meeting that requirement.  Otherwise, you have to take the 3cr cornerstone.
