Thanks, Burbuja. Things are a bit muddy. Over 20 years ago I took Gen. Ed. CLEPS, and the results are on my AARTS. (It's sort of like a military transcipt.) I'd like to see if COSC will give credit. (I'm guessing not, but I gotta try.) I"m also investigating whether my AARTS should also be listing some ACE recommendations which would give me credit for Technical Writing, etc. The e-mails are going 'round and 'round, and I want to hold off taking some tests so that I'm not wasting time/money. I'm scheduled for Principles of Sup. - my first DSST - on Saturday. It shouldn't duplicate anything.

Keep me posted! I know that COSC was generous with my old community college credits, but have not heard of AARTS.

Good luck on Supervision - if you do well, you should take the Management test too. There is a ton of overlap.

Hi, Am I correct in thinking that COSC does NOT assign a grade to refreshed DSST (3-digit score) tests? It does assign a grade to CLEP and DSST tests that have 2-digit scores, right?

The only grades that COSC assigns to DSST are the older, two-digit non-refreshed. You do not get a grade for a three digit DSST or a CLEP. Of course you get grades for ECE's and TECEP's if you're looking for additional tests to get letter grades. ( I don't recommend TECEP's for non-TESC students due to price, but ECE's are a great option)

Burbuja0512, Do you have a spreadsheet for all of the classes that you've taken and how they fit in with COSC's requirements? (I have the spreadsheet/CPS Form for the Business Administration courses.) Could you send it to me?

Here is a generalized plan that I made for another forum member a while back, though it's not specific to my credits, but I think it might be more helpful.

Is this what you're looking for?

Thanks. I've taken a lot of tests in the last month, and done well. To my mind, I was thinking that I'd be slidin' in to home (a diploma from COSC) next June. Then, I looked at the spreadsheet you'd sent me for you upper-level classes. Then this spreadsheet. Ugh. Will I EVER graduate? (Yeah, I'm having a pity party. No one needs to bring the whine 'cause I've got plenty. :nopity: )

Any pics from the graduation?

Oh no!! Don't be discouraged. Do you need me to help consolidate your spreadsheets into one big plan?

I focused on the general ed credits first. Once I got those out of the way, then I moved on to the rest. It really does feel like a long time, but trust me, as long as you keep moving, you WILL progress. I remember coming here and looking jealously at other members' signatures that were full of tests back when I only had one or two. I really never thought I would be done, but I just focused my energy on one test at a time. If you look at the big picture too often, it can be incredibly overwhelming. Q:How do you eat an elephant? A: One bite at a time! Keep this in mind Smile

@Excelsior954 - yes, I do have pics but I probably wasn't going to post them. I have sent them to a couple forum members that have asked, but l really didn't turn out that great. Send me a PM if you really want to see the COSC graduation Smile
