I can see when I'm not logged in that someone asked for the rubrics for classes. That's not really an ethical thing to do. The classes also change. The professors change. The Final Assessment changes. You need to complete the course content and review the Final Assessment Outline for your courses. The rubric only shows you what you need to do to earn the points. Meaning how many sources you need for a 3 or a 4. Doing your own work is extremely important. If someone were to use someone else's Final Assessment you both would be in trouble. Plagiarism is taken very seriously at UMPI and most universities. You can be kicked out permanently and the other person could lose their degree. Not worth it! I worked too hard to complete my degree to hand my work to someone else and I would not jeopardize the degree I worked for.

At most schools, the rubric is universal and rarely changes from year to year, let alone from student to student. Asking to see a rubric isn't really that strange. It's good to know that they're different at UMPI, though.

The rubric is different for every class at UMPI. I'm in grad school at Charleston Southern University right now and each class has it's own rubric there as well. CSU Global had a rubric for each course as well. PUG has a different rubric for each course in the ExcelTrack. I haven't been to a school where the same rubric is used for every course.

Of course different classes have different rubrics. I mean that everyone taking microeconomics will get the same rubric, not a personalized one.

Each professor has their own rubric. The professors do change so the rubrics change. One of my classes had a professor change after the term began so things do change. And as UMPI's program grows, there will probably be more than one professor per term.

SS is right there ^. The competencies also can change term to term. The content slightly changes, but the milestones will often be different and unique to each professo.

Like I said, it's good to know that UMPI is different. Other schools, you can search up the rubrics for the 3rd assignment for their 2018 XYZ class and it'll be the same as the 2019, 2020, and 2021 rubrics.

RE: UMPI - ss20ts - 07-07-2021

There's only 1 assignment for each class in the YourPace program - the Final Assessment. The rubrics are different for each professor. Even the Final Assessment changes. Some classes are being updated as well.

Hello,
I am currently in the admissions process for the yourpace criminal justice degree and saw that there is a field experience class. I was wondering how that works? Like is it an internship that I have to find myself or will the school place me or is it just like a regular class?

^^^ This.

For example ss20ts and I had the same instructor on one class, but I believe DanielDaCosta on this forum got a completely new instructor and a new type of final!
